Math Science Pays The world is changing. There are more and more math science job opportunities. Workers in math-science-related fields earn highest, and even better with college-degrees. (see graphics below)
Average Earnings from Workers in Math-Science-related field are high
Workers in science, technology, engineering, math (STEM) occupations earn about 70% more than the national average earns (Occupational Outlook Quarterly, Spring 2007, Chart 2, data from 2005).
Average Salary Offers for Math-Science-related College Graduates are High
Average starting salary offers for college graduates with a bachelor's degree in the field of science, technology, engineering, mathematics range from 44,000 to 51,000 annual salaray (see Occupational Outlook Quarterly, Spring 2007, Table 1, data from 2005-06)
The Highest Salaries Go Mostly to People with a Math-Science-Related College Degree
