Compliance-Based Performance Management Training
For All TRIO Program Personnel

Funded under TRIO Grants from the U.S. Department of Education

Role & Mission:
Federally funded through the U.S. Department of Education under new Absolute Priority 1, the UI/NASP TRIO Training project trains eligible personnel in compliance-based project management.  Training includes the areas of budget management, recordkeeping and reporting, and evaluation of overall project performance.  This training is provided to any personnel employed in or preparing for employment in TRIO projects.

Expected Training Course Outcomes:

bullet Improve your understanding of the governing documents and how they apply to your project,
bullet Identify potential compliance issues through case studies,
bullet Recommend modifications to correct any areas of non-compliance, and ensure that the project objectives are aligned with the legislative purpose, and
bullet Provide a project-specific Policy Manual template.
