Please check the revised schedule for your school placement below in the practicum guidelines The link below takes you to the guidelines set out for the practicum. It starts with the letter I send to the teachers - which provides you with an overview of the expectations we have set for you and the grading procedures. In addition, the guidelines incorporate the items you are expected to complete. You - not your teacher - are in charge of ensuring these items get completed - failure to plan them with your teacher and fit them into the practicum weeks will result in loss of pts for the items not included. Remember 2 unexcused absences will result in you being pulled out of the practicum with a loss of total practicum pts -so act professionally by calling ahead, and excusing yourself and making up the time. We will go over these items in class in more detail Your first item is to go to the schools during Feb 11- 22nd twice and complete the observation assig - due Feb 25th or earlier. Be sure to dress appropriately, no hats, go to the office first and register you are there, introduce yourself to the secretary, and then go to the gym and introduce yourself to your teacher, observe and help out.
