Middle Level On-line Courses
History
Summer 2002, Middle Level
State Standards were created and aligned with National Middle School Standards.
Through a grant from J.A. & Kathryn Albertson Foundation, Middle
Grades Connection: Center for Early Adolescent Development provided the server
and hosted the group creating a 12 credit, five course on-line sequence.
Instructors from all institutes of higher education, IMLA and Middle Level
leaders statewide were invited to help develop and teach the courses. For
