This course covers the following principles of the new Idaho Middle Level Endorsement:

• Knowledge of Human Development and Learning

• Communication Skills

• Partnerships

This course will include reading materials, suggested activities, and assessment of your knowledge of principles and standards for teaching at the middle level.  

The texts for each section contain valuable information for middle level educators.  Many schools may already have these in their teacher resource library.  Most are available for purchase through NMSA and are rather inexpensive.

Each of the assignments should relate directly to your personal situation whether you are a student, teacher, administrator or counselor.  Those taking this class for teacher development credit will be graded on a pass/fail system.

Graduate credit will be letter graded.
