B.                Executive Position for Webmaster

            Article IV: Officers

                Section 1: (a)

Amend first sentence to read “The Officers of the Society shall be a President, a Conference Chair, an Elections Chair, a Secretary-Treasurer, a Journal Editor, a Newsletter Editor, four Members-at-Large, and a Webmaster.” [This language assumes that proposal A for a two-year presidency is passed.  If it fails, then the current proposal B will simply add “and a Webmaster” to the corresponding sentence in the existing constitution.]

Insert the following sentence after the sentence that begins “The four Members-at-Large…”: “The Webmaster, whose position on the executive is nonvoting, will be appointed by the President for a renewable two-year term.”

Article IV: Officers

Insert new Section 9:

The Webmaster shall-

                -design and maintain the IAPS web site;

                -make an annual report to the Executive Council and to the Annual General (Business) Meeting in respect to the state of the web site; and

                -liaise with members of the Society, most notably with members of the Executive Council and with members of standing and special committees, in order to ensure that the web site functions as an effective medium of communication about IAPS business for both IAPS members and the broader public.
