The purpose of the International Association for the Philosophy of Sport is to promote, stimulate, and encourage study, research and writing in the philosophy of sport and physical activity, and, as appropriate, to demonstrate the relevance of these findings to specific areas of professional concern; to support and cooperate with local, national, and international organizations having similar purposes; to organize and arrange meetings; and to issue publications relating to this area of scholarly inquiry. |
