Unlike larger dance programs across the country, University of Idaho dance majors perform during their first semester at the university. Dance students have numerous opportunities for performance throughout their college studies.

The Center for Dance offers two main stage dance concerts a year including Dancers Drummers Dreamers.  This extravagant production, which is always sold out each spring, is a collaboration with Music. Each year there are two studio performances and senior concerts. Main stage productions are performed at the 400 seat Hartung Theatre and studio/senor concerts are performed in our renovated Studio 110, a 120 seat theatre with new lighting and curtains. 

The Center for Dance travels each year to the American College Dance Festival and performs regularly for artists-in-the-schools outreach. The choreography of students is also performed on the main stage as well as featured many informal Dance Off-Hand concerts in the Studio 110 performance space.
