Four distinct minors in Dance are offered at the University of Idaho. One is a general overview of dance, another is recommended for those who will use dance in a performance capacity.  The third minor is for those who wish to teach dance along with their primary teaching subject area. The forth is a minor in social dance. 

NOTE: Be sure you have officially declared your minor and informed the Director of Dance. 

Dance Minor-A general Dance Minor for those who want to teach privately or work in the dance field.
Dance Performing Minor-A specific Dance Minor for those going into performing, such as theatre or music majors.
Dance Teaching Minor-Only open to education majors.  
Social Dance Minor-starting summer 2004 a specific minor for those concentrating in social dance will be available.
