Economic Unit

    The following links to websites and documents will give the educator a well-rounded approach to investigating, teaching and learning about basic and introductory economic principles. Along with the National and Idaho Standards links, the documents assist the teacher or students in identifying key words and lesson plans associated with each of the twenty standards. The Idaho Standards Website, additionally, relates each new standard to the previous "Economic Fundamental Concept". The on-line Lesson Plans, available on the National Council on Economic Education (NCEE) Website were written by teachers and tested in the classroom. Please examine and use what is relevant to your teaching objectives and take part in the "Campaign for Economic Literacy" in grades K-12.
