Overview of the Introductory
Accounting Unit
These introductory accounting lessons will
provide students with a solid foundation in accounting skills and concepts.
Students will learn all aspects of the accounting cycle, from entering
transactions to generating all basic accounting reports. Students
will use analytical skills and will learn the importance of being detailed
and proficient when entering numerical data. Students will build a strong foundation for
understanding accounting processes and developing accounting skills that
will benefit any business setting or personal endeavor.
It is advised that these
lessons be completed in order, as accounting has a specific cycle.
However, they may also be completed as independent lessons to complement what is already taking place in the classroom.
